Oriole Resources PLC (AIM: ORR), the AIM-quoted exploration company focussed on West Africa, provides an update on its 11.80% interest in Thani Stratex Djibouti Limited ( TSD ). Further to its announcement on 1 October 2020, the Company has been advised that TSD has completed an additional 321.50 metres ( m ) diamond drilling, in three holes, and 1,884m reverse circulation ( RC ) drilling, in 18 holes, at the Hesdaba epithermal gold project ( Hesdaba or the Project ) in Djibouti, thus completing its Phase 1 programme. Remaining results from this programme are anticipated in Q1-2021, and will follow previously reported intersections of up to 15.00m grading 4.08 grammes per tonne ( g/t ) gold ( Au ).

Saturday saw nine more COVID-related deaths recorded in Manitoba alongside 238 new cases.
The dead range in age from their 50s to 90s. Six were from the Winnipeg health region and one each were from Interlake-Eastern, Northern and Southern Health-Santé Sud.
Of the 238 new cases, 104 were from Winnipeg, followed by 55 in Northern, 33 in Interlake-Eastern, 30 in Southern Health-Santé Sud and 16 in Prairie Mountain Health.
Of the 327 active cases in Prairie Mountain Health, 162 are in the Brandon district, followed by 82 in Porcupine Mountain,14 in Duck Mountain, 12 in Unknown District, 11 in Spruce Woods, nine in Little Saskatchewan, eight in both Asessippi and Riding Mountain, five in Agassiz Mountain, four in each Swan River, Dauphin and Souris River, three in Whitemud and two in Turtle Mountain.

The province recorded 25 new COVID-related deaths during the weekend alongside 633 new cases.
The age ranges of people who died was between their 40s to 90s and included 20 people in the Winnipeg health region, two in Southern Health-Santé Sud, two in Interlake-Eastern and one in Interlake.
Of the weekend’s new cases, 364 were in Winnipeg, followed by 102 in Northern, 73 in Interlake-Eastern, 50 in Southern Health and 44 in Prairie Mountain Health.
There are now 5,728 active cases in the province, of which 247 are in Prairie Mountain Health.
Within Prairie Mountain Health’s districts, there are 134 active cases in Brandon, followed by 43 in Porcupine Mountain, 19 in Duck Mountain, 12 in Unknown District, 10 in Riding Mountain, nine in Spruce Woods, five in Little Saskatchewan, and four each in Asessippi, Dauphin and Turtle Mountain.
