Max Keith Amey tried to force himself into a woman s home in Botley Drive, Havant. During the same incident, the 24-year-old of Foundry Lane attacked a police officer and damaged a window. He was charged with using violence for securing entry, assaulting an emergency worker, and resisting a constable in the execution of his duty. He was also charged with possessing a flick knife in a public place without lawful excuse.

Woman fined for speeding on M27 near Eastleigh

Robyn Kathleen Williams was clocked speeding at 67mph through the roadworks on the M27. She had been driving a Renault Megane on the eastbound carriageway between junctions four and five near Eastleigh. There is a 50mph speed limit in place while the carriageway is transformed into a smart motorway. Williams was found guilty of speed at Portsmouth Magistrates Court and was fined £180 The 33-year-old of Fyning Street, Portsmouth, must pay £300 court costs and a £34 victim surcharge.

Southampton man gets ban for drink driving in Fareham

Kevin Alexander was stopped driving a Nissan Juke on Tanners Lane in Fareham. When breathalysed, the 48-year-old of Schooner Way, gave a reading of 92mgs. The legal limit is just 35mgs, making him more than two and a half times the limit. He pleaded guilty to the offence which happened on February 4 this year. Appearing before Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court he was fined £200 and disqualified from driving for 23 months. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
