In the Dock: Banned drivers among defendants in court A MAN has been jailed after getting caught driving while disqualified twice. Joshua Radcliffe was pulled over driving a Volkswagen Golf on Fareham Road, Wickham. The 20-year-old was both banned from the roads and uninsured at the time. Furthermore, Radcliffe of Thorni Avenue, Fareham, had been subject to a suspend sentence for attacking three police officers on a previous occasion. And, for driving while disqualified in September last year. Appearing before Portsmouth Magistrates Court he pleaded guilty to the most recent offences which happened on November 19 last year.

Fareham man given domestic violence protection order A MAN has been banned from entering a Southampton road under a domestic violence court order. Zachery Lowe must not go to Glen Road. The 33-year-old of Southampton Road, Southampton has been handed a domestic violence protection order lasting 28-days. During this time he must not contact his female victim either directly or indirectly. He was given the order by Portsmouth Magistrates Court. It also prevents him from intimidating, harassing or pestering the woman in any way. The order lasts until midnight on June 1 this year.

Anthony Carpenter, 28, of Sil Close Road, Shepton Mallet in Somerset, admitted driving while banned in Magdala Road, Cosham, and without insurance, on March 4.
He admitted breaching a community order for two charges of assault by beating and criminal damage.
Magistrates imposed a 12-month community order with 60 hours unpaid work and 30 days rehabilitation activities.
He must pay a £95 surcharge and £85 costs.
Joseph Joyce, 20, of Witts Hill, Southampton, admitted being drunk and disorderly on the A27 at Cams Hill in Portchester on February 23.
He was fined £50 with a £24 surcharge and £85 costs.
Joyce admitted assaulting an emergency worker, a police officer, and was fined £200.
Magistrates fined him £80 with a £34 surcharge and £40 costs.
Mark Wall, 59, of Stoke Gardens, Gosport, admitted drink-driving at the Meridian Centre car park in Elm Lane, Havant, on January 22.
Magistrates fined him £461 with a £45 surcharge and £85 costs.
A test revealed he had 63 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35.
He was banned for 18 months.
Ben Whitford, 19, of Queen Street, Portsea, admitted drink-driving in The Hard on January 23
A test revealed he had 40 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
He must pay an £80 fine and £85 surcharge.
He was banned for 12 months.
Hampshire Constabulary have now charged an 18-year-old over the stabbing.
Fabian Silva, 18, of Sedgley Close, Portsmouth, has been charged with grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court this morning (May 4).
Police had previously said that two men, both from Portsmouth, had been arrested on suspicion on assisting an offender.
They have been released from custody but remain under investigation.
