INSPECTOR Thivenrajoo Krisnamoorthy, who currently serves as the head of the Narcotics Crime Investigation division at the Belaga district police headquarters in Sarawak, is an alumnus of Management and Science University (MSU).
He graduated with a Bachelor in Forensic Science (Hons) in 2015, and has been with the police force for two years.
In becoming an inspector, the 29-year-old has fulfilled the dream of his late father, who was also a policeman.

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 214 patrons of an entertainment outlet were issued with compounds for breaching the conditional movement control order.
“They did not practise physical distancing in the outlet, which operated on the pretext of being a restaurant and bar, and was playing loud music, ” said Kuala Lumpur deputy CID chief Asst Comm Nasri Mansor.
He said compounds were issued to the patrons, aged between 19 and 38.
“We detained four foreigners during the raid, ” he said when met at the scene in Taman Shamelin Perkasa on Friday night.

LAHAD DATU: Police arrested a man and seized 152.55gm of syabu at a water village, Kampung Bakau, Thursday.

District Police Chief, ACP Rohan Shah Ahmad, in a statement on Friday said the 52-year-old suspect was detained by a team of police from the Narcotics Crime Investigation during Ops Tapis at about 12.45pm.
Rohan said, following tip-off, the team detained the unemployed man and seized a bag containing three packs of translucent plastic containing the syabu worth RM22,882.50.
“The suspect also tested positive for taking drugs and remanded for seven days under Section 117 of Criminal Procedure Code.
