Bengaluru, Jan 5: Philanthropist and NRI entrepreneur Ronald Colaco has been conferred professional doctorate in global leadership and management by the prestigious, world-renowned European International University, Paris, France in recognition of his humanitarian and charitable works for the betterment of society.
The professional doctorate was conferred on Ronald Colaco virtually on 7th of January directly from Paris, due to Covid-19 movement restrictions and the Doctoral Certificate was awarded in a splendid ceremony held at Clarks Exotica in Bengaluru on January 30. Union minister D V Sadananda Gowda handed over the doctorate certificate to Colaco, in the presence of former deputy chief minister Dr Parameshwar, MLC Bhoje Gowda, well-known educationist, writer and former principal of Shesha

Karnataka Legislative Council deputy chairperson S L Dharme Gowda was found dead near a
railway track at Gunasagara in Kadur taluk in the wee hours of Tuesday. It is suspected that he died by suicide.
On Monday, he was actively involved in public functions and even inaugurated a gym in Chikkamagaluru along with
BJP national general secretary CT Ravi.
Around 7 pm, he returned to his farm at Sakarayapattanna and asked his driver Dharamaraj to leave.
Dharmegowda then drove the car by himself informing the driver that he had to go and meet someone.

CHIKKAMAGALURU, SHIVAMOGGA: Karnataka woke up to a shocking news on Tuesday as deputy chairman of Karnataka Legislative Council S L Dharme Gowda allegedly died by suicide at Gunasagar village between Birur and Kadur at 2 am.
Sources said that last night, he went out along with his driver and asked his driver to wait near Gunasagar.

Bengaluru: SL Dharme Gowda, Deputy Speaker of Karnataka Legislative Council was found dead on a railway track near Kadur in Chikkamagaluru. A suicide note has been recovered. Dharme Gowda had left his home last night and his family was worried about his whereabouts. The development comes as a shocker to the Janata Dal (Secular). It is shocking to learn the news of Deputy Speaker of the State Legislative Council and JDS leader SL Dharmegowda s suicide. He was a calm and decent man.
