When his phone slipped out of his hand during a flight, filmmaker Ernesto Galiotto might have been justified in thinking it would have been destroyed. But in a video that has since been widely shared on social media, he not only found the phone but discovered it was in working condition.
Galiotto, a noted Brazilian environmentalist and filmmaker, was trying to capture visuals from the window of a small plane as they were flying over the coast of Rio de Janeiro. However, his mobile phone was blown out of his hand and fell nearly 2000 feet.

Ontario Provincial Police officers who attended to a vehicle that had rolled into a ditch discovered that it was a family’s pet dog that was responsible for the crash.
According to OPP East Region police, the vehicle “had been inadvertently set in motion” by the dog that was alone inside the car. The vehicle’s owner, who had just exited the car, tried to stop it, but failed and “sustained minor injuries”.
The couple also requested neighbours to turn up the TV volume if their child was too loud.
The neighbour who tweeted the letter did keep her promise of baking cookies for the parents. She also gifted the baby a toiletry set, while the parents were given a bottle of liquor.
