Microsoft has today added support for FPS Boost across a whopping 70 games, bringing the total number of Xbox One titles that can receive doubled frame rates on Xbox Series X|S consoles to 97.
There’s an impressive array of titles that can now run with doubled frame rates, either bumping the game up from 30FPS to 60FPS, or from 60FPS to 120FPS. When so many big budget games on the last generation were restricted to 30FPS gaming, it can dramatically increase the fluidity of the experience.

Highlights include Deus Ex Mankind Divided, Alien Isolation, Dying Light, Far Cry 5, and a whole host of LEGO games all now having the option to run at 60Hz. It will even help with more chilled out slice of life and management games like My Time at Portia and Two Point Hospital.

When FPS Boost first released back in February, the platform only supported five titles, but Microsoft has rapidly added new games to the feature over the last few months.
To turn FPS Boost on or off, navigate to where the title is installed on your console’s hard drive and select ‘Compatibility Options.’ You’ll then see an option to turn ‘Auto HDR’ and FPS Boost on/off (the video above also shows up to turn the feature.

97 Xbox Games Now Feature FPS Boost, Including Halo Wars 2
A few months ago, Xbox introduced the FPS Boost feature for games, and it s now rolled out to nearly 100 titles.
There are now 97 games for Xbox that have the FPS Boost feature, platform spokesman Larry Major Nelson Hryb announced on Monday. This number comes after the feature rolled out to a large number of new games, including Wasteland 3 and Halo Wars 2. Based on an image attached to Hryb s tweet, other notable games with the feature include Hollow Knight, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Far Cry 5, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
As the accompanying blog post notes, FPS Boost was first unveiled as an Xbox Series X|S feature back in February. True to its name, the feature offers a frame rate boost, offering 60fps for Assassin s Creed Unity, 60fps for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, 60fps for Far Cry 5, and 120fps for Hollow Knight.

If you just can t get enough of those video game frames, Microsoft has a bit of treat for you today in the form of FPS Boost support for 13 EA titles, including Battlefield 5, Titanfall 2, and Star Wars Battlefront 2.
FPS Boost, which debuted back in February, is designed to increase frame rates of legacy Xbox One games when run on Xbox Series X/S - pushing them up to 120fps for certain titles.
To date, we ve seen FPS Boost support for the likes of Skyrim, Dishonored, Sniper Elite 4, Watch Dogs 2, and Fallout 76, but as of today, 22nd April, that selection has been expanded to include 13 more titles, all from the EA Play catalogue - which can also be accessed as part of an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
