Cindy Campbell, Downtown Timmins: Business Improvement Association’s executive director, told The Daily Press the initiative was started by Chrislynn Losier, who is an owner at JustNatural Spa & Institute Inc.
Losier said, “Some of my people closest to me who consider themselves you know whether it be like the LGTBQ and all that stuff so, it’s always been a month that I celebrate like June being Pride Month and then I had seen that Sudbury had posted about their crosswalk and I’ve been to Toronto and all these different places and they have the crosswalk so, I had shared it and I tagged the City of Timmins and the BIA and asked if I could do it in front of my business building, that way if it wasn’t in the budg
