David M. Thomas, 35, was allegedly drunk and speeding on Jan. 24, 2020, when his SUV struck the rear of another vehicle on Hook Road in Pennsville Township, then entered the oncoming lane of traffic and collided head-on with a car driven by Wayne J. Corbin, 70, of Wilmington, Delaware, according to police. Corbin died of his injuries, while three of his passengers were hospitalized. The driver of the other vehicle struck by Thomas was also injured.
