Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the original production of Amarillo Opera’s “Remove Shoes Before Entering” had to be postponed back in November, with the group not knowing at the time when members of the community would be able to see it performed.
However, the opera is making it a priority for this story to be told and for this music to be heard by the Texas Panhandle community, helping opera be reached by members of the community it may not always be accessible to.
The opera will host three performances of Remove Shoes Before Entering at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday at the concert hall on the Washington Street campus of Amarillo College.

King of Prussia residents will welcome a new, vibrant and upscale senior living community, Anthology Senior Living, in early February.
The eleven-story, 190-apartment building will welcome its first residents in mid-February. The community offers vibrant independent living, personal care and memory care.
