(WFIE) - A narcotic arrest warrant for a Henderson County man revealed over 100 used and unused syringes in his bedroom Friday. According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, detectives with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force assisted deputies in a drug investigation after they attempted to locate and serve a narcotic arrest warrant on 34-year-old Paul Joseph Schwartz, also known as Joey Schwartz, just before 6 p.m. We’re told Schwartz is currently in jail for other felony charges. [ Deputies say after making contact with someone inside the residence on Kennedy Circle, they were told Schwartz wasn’t home. That’s when deputies say they received consent to search his bedroom.

Drug task force arrests two Madisonville residents HENDERSON, Ky.  A drug task force charged two Madisonville residents following an investigation that began in Webster County. Andrew Panda Classen, 35, and Nicole A. Causey, 34, were both arrested March 31 and charged with first-degree trafficking a controlled substance. Classen was additionally charged with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia. Causey was also charged with failure to a wear seat belt.  Members of the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force in conjunction with the Providence Police Department, Clay Police Department and the Webster County Sheriff s Office initiated the investigation with an undercover drug buy at the Dollar Store on Kentucky 109 in Clay.

Task force arrests Union County man on meth trafficking charge STURGIS, Ky. A Union County man allegedly had two things scheduled the night he was arrested. First, according to authorities, he was to meet with a woman known as the Mad Hatter. Second, he allegedly intended to sell methamphetamine at Huck s in Sturgis. Regardless of his alleged plans, 26-year-old Sturgis resident Brandon French was taken into custody by the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force and charged with trafficking in meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. The task force was assisted in the arrest by the Union County Sheriff s Office and the Sturgis Police Department.

(WFIE) - A Muhlenberg County man is in jail Thursday morning facing drug-related charges. Officials with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force and the Muhlenberg County Sheriff Department executed a search at a home in the 200 block of Beech Creek Road on Wednesday. They say during the search, officers found around 28 grams of meth, over $1,800 and drug paraphernalia. Authorities charged 37-year-old Toby Taylor with trafficking in meth over two grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
