Henderson Co woman faces drug trafficking, child endangerment charges

HENDERSON, Ky. A Henderson County woman was arrested after allegedly selling drugs while her three children were in the vehicle with her. The Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force alleges that Johna M. Stone, 29, 6000 section of Kentucky 1299, took her children to the parking lot of Cairo Elementary School where she is accused of selling roughly 11 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant. The incident is said to have occurred on the afternoon of July 6, according to authorities. Following the alleged transaction, the task force members said Stone was stopped near the intersection of U.S. 41-Alternate and Kentucky 425. Three children, ages 4, 5 and 10, were allegedly in the vehicle with Stone.

Others arrested as part of the drug investigation include Janie Jones, 39, Casey L. Coakley, 39, and Felicia Terrell, 22, all of Providence. Each of these also face at least one count of drug trafficking. Terrell was additionally charged with criminal abuse relating to the alleged living conditions of her 4-year-old son. The case is scheduled to go before the next session of the Webster County grand jury. Mills alleged that methamphetamine was sold from locations on West Elm Street, at Grove Street and Kentucky 109-North, Kentucky 174 North, and the 200 section of Kentucky 109 North in Clay, and on Bellville Road and West Elm Street in Providence.
