April Fools Day is here once again, so be cautious as you scroll your feeds today. Even after a year of uttering “Is this a joke?” almost daily through unbelievable news cycles, the pranksters are still out.
But it’s not just family and friends you need to be wary of today. As always, there were a bevy of attempted pranks from Hollywood and major brands and, as always, some of them backfired hard. To be fair though, some were also pretty funny. Here are this year’s attempts, from the weird to simply the worst.

Back in 2017, Adult Swim pulled off the rare satisfying April Fools’ Day prank by giving fans the surprise debut of the third season premiere of
Rick and Morty. Though they didn’t follow suit with the fifth season premiere – though the first trailer for new episodes arrived earlier this week – they still delivered something fun for longtime fans to enjoy.

The network has rebranded itself as Adult Swim Junior on April 1.
Hapless time-travellers Rick & Morty have been turned into babies as part of an April Fools Day joke from Adult Swim. The network has reworked the opening titles of the hit animated show for younger viewers.
For one day only, Adult Swim has rebranded itself as a kid-friendly version of the network titled Adult Swim Junior, and delivered the opening credits for the new show Rick & Morty Babies. And they went further than just a spoof credit sequence they had an entire episode redubbed with kids voices. Check out Rick & Morty Babies opening sequence below:
