His company’s facilities were shut for more than a month and half during the lockdown, and he was confined to a four-bedroom apartment in Bengaluru from where he had to manage new challenges at work, while also looking after an ageing mother-in-law with comorbidities. “There was a lot of uncertainty, the stress and anxiety levels were very high,” said Kumar.
