It was entertaining with an extremely likeable lead, and it stood out as one of the most watchable, if not earth-shatteringly brilliant, shows on the nascent streaming service (not that it has much competition from
See and
Home Before Dark). At its core it’s a workplace comedy, in which the relentlessly positive Lasso, an underdog both culturally and professionally as an American in the Premier League, slowly brings everyone around him to his cheery way of thinking. It not so much treads but bounds flagrantly back and forth across the line between heartwarming and corny. As with much of the content on Apple TV+, it seemed like no one was watching it.

Outfitters and river access advocates are worried about a budget decision to furlough a longtime county employee who coordinated commercial use of the Snake River between Wilson and South Park boat ramps.
Snake River Angler owner Will Dornan was incredulous at the decision to furlough Mike Estes, a recreation program coordinator who has worked for Teton County for 24 years. Make that 28, if his time spent as a Teton County Search and Rescue volunteer is included.
âYou just got rid of your very, very best,â Dornan said.
Since 2017 Estes has coordinated commercial use of the county-administered stretch of the Snake River, overseeing the river management program, which was revised and made final in 2018. Dornan didnât originally want the program, and, specifically, the permits that came with it. But he said Estes managed it well, and he was concerned about letting him go.

Now, I ve seen stories about the larger malls having lines outside of the stores, because of capacity issues. I was not expecting to deal with that in Evansville. Box Lunch is currently only allowing 15 people in the store at a time. That s actually pretty nice, because there is not a lot of space between sections.
While we were waiting to go in (I felt like I was in line to see Santa) We played a game of
Spot the No Mask. Yes, there are still people that are perfectly fine walking around with either no mask, or it isn t being worn properly. In fact, a lady waiting to go in to Box Lunch right in front of us had no mask on. Her friend did, and I really thought since they were being super strict with the capacity, surely they wouldn t let her in. Next to the capacity sign is another sign stating masks are required. The girl letting people in the store didn t say anything about it.
