Blizzard has announced the start date of the technical alpha of Diablo II: Resurrected on PC, which will run all weekend long starting at Apr. 9. Diablo II: Resurrected was announced at BlizzCon 2021 after months of rumors, leaks, and fan speculation regarding an ambitious remaster of the 2000 game that defined the hack-and-slash RPG. Diablo II: Resurrected technical alpha Diablo II: Resurrected combines Diablo II with its Lord of Destruction expansion into one package. The video game has fully remastered visuals, but it runs over the original video game, which means that it is possible to switch to the old visuals at any time.

After 30 years of making games, Blizzard finally announces the long-awaited game Diablo II: Resurrected at the Blizzcon this year on an online event due to COVID. Even though people could not physically attend the convention, fans could not keep their excitement for the game s long-rumored remaster.
What We Know About Diablo II: Resurrected Diablo II: Resurrected is a remaster of Diablo II and the expansion Diablo II: Lord of Destruction that was first released in 2000. Blizzard looked for help from one of the greatest remaster teams in the industry, Vicarious Visions. Both game developers merge into Blizzard Entertainment and are currently under their parent company, Activision, after working with Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2, and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, as CBR reports.

Activision Blizzard already confirmed during its financial results conference call that the video game Diablo 4 won t be released in 20201. However, Blizzard Entertainment revealed an information that should help tide the eager fans of the game.
Diablo 4 release
For the longest time, a remaster of the video game has been rumored and now it has come true and is named Diablo 2: Resurrected. This will replace Diablo 4. Blizzard Entertainment already revealed the trailer of the game on its YouTube channel. Diablo 2: Resurrected is being developed by Blizzard Entertainment and by Vicarious Visions, which was recently moved to be under Blizzard Entertainment instead of Activision just earlier this year.
