Concerns are growing among the MMA community with regards to the health of UFC Hall of Famer Diego Sanchez and the influence Joshua Fabia, of the School of Self-Awareness, has over him. In recent weeks we have seen Sanchez removed from the UFC and a number of wild claims made from the Sanchez-Fabia camp.
One of the less serious things to come out of this saga came via Donald Cerrone, who was due to fight Sanchez last weekend before the UFC cut ties with him. According to Cerrone, Fabia once bragged about his ability to throw a ‘death punch’ at a bar. ‘Cowboy’ said that resulted in a friend of his beating Fabia up.

UFC Hall of Famer Diego Sanchez has revealed he will likely face Donald âCowboyâ Cerrone in his final fight.
In January, Sanchez confirmed on social media that his next fight would be the last of his fight career, he wrote.
âItâs my last fight my heart path has changed, itâs time to heal not hurt! One more Nightmare to give! It is honestly in @danawhite hands who I fight, I have no choice in it nor do the match makers #endofanera.â
Since then, speculation about who âThe Nightmareâ would fight has been rife. Sanchez previously called for legends fights against the likes of Cerrone, Dan Hardy, Demian Maia, and Conor McGregor. And it was a message directed at the Irishman on Twitter that revealed exactly who Sanchez is likely to face later this year.
