Vanessa Murphy dave, Richard Scavone is a former Metro Police Officer who is suspected of working as a prostitute. Hes been indicted on a federal civil rights violation and hes accused of lying on a report about the incident. This is significant because you dont hear much about officers being indicted locally. The incident occurred just over a year ago on january 6th of 2015 near tropicana and industrial road. Police reviewed scavones body camera footage at the time and turned it over to the district attorneys office.
