The Age brings back Age Book of the Year Awards and partners with Melbourne Writers Festival

The Age is sponsoring the Melbourne Writers Festival and reviving the Age Book of the Year award, which was last presented in 2012. [For Hire] Writer Looking for Work Thread

[For Hire] Writer Looking for Work Thread   Introduction Hi folks. I am a writer with experience in both screenwriting and fiction who is looking for work. I recently received an MFA in Film (directing and screenwriting), and while I don t have any video game credits to my name, I did work on a few projects on this site several years ago that fell through and were never released. I m looking to try again, and I m hopeful that something great can come of it. Gaming Interests My favorite genres of games are RPGs and strategy games, though I play a variety of other genres as well. Some of my favorites are Diablo 2, the Souls/Bloodborne series, the Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, Civilization, Crusader Kings, Darkest Dungeon, Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2, and XCOM: Enemy Within. Outside of video games, I m also a big Dungeons & Dragons fan, especially of the old-school, pre-3rd Edition variety.

Would Charlie feel betrayed by this disclosure? He never told me that I couldn’t speak to Tia, but that certainly wasn’t the same as giving permission. And what if his father – a man I had never met – answered the phone? Would I hang up? What could I possibly have to say to him? And how might Tia react to criticisms of a man who was, ultimately, her brother?
