Family asks public for help finding missing Buffalo State student UP NEXT The family of Saniyya Dennis, a Buffalo State College sophomore who s been missing for over a week, pleaded with authorities and the public to help them in their search. Dennis, 19, was last seen on April 24 leaving her residence hall around 11:30 p.m., according to University Police. Investigators later revealed that Dennis phone pinged off of a cell tower near Niagara Falls State Park around 1:23 a.m. April 25. During a news conference Friday, Dennis family criticized police for not moving fast enough and stalling a search party. The family told reporters that they were alerted by one of Dennis friends that she may have gotten on a bus to Niagara Park.

The family of Saniyya Dennis, a Buffalo State College sophomore who s been missing for over a week, pleaded with authorities and the public to help them in their search.

The family of a Buffalo State College student missing since last weekend has put up a $10,000 reward for information that leads to her safe return. In the meantime, the family of Saniyya Dennis has traveled to Buffalo from New York City, and expressed their frustration Friday over the investigation so far.
Dennis, a sophomore at Buffalo Bronx native, was last seen leaving her on-campus residence hall late Saturday evening. Investigators say the last ping identified from her mobile phone was around 1:20 the following morning near Goat Island in Niagara Falls.
Peter Carey, Chief of University Police at Buffalo State College, explained that no activity had been traced to her phone since.

BUFFALO, N.Y. It has been nearly a week since a Buffalo State student went missing after leaving her dorm room.
Family members of Saniyya Dennis keep doing everything they can to find her. The latest info is that according to Buffalo State police, the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority has video of Saniyya at the NFTA s bus terminal downtown.
Day of Prayer to be observed on May 6 in Wellsburg
WELLSBURG The Wellsburg Kiwanis Club and Wellsburg United Methodist Church will observe National Day of Prayer with a service at noon May 6 on the Wellsburg Town Square.
The speaker will be the Rev. Steven Htlatky, pastor of Brooke Hills Free Methodist Church.
The Kiwanis club will provide free bagged lunches to those attending.
