Dracula is on the way as Deadline reports that Nathalie Emmanuel (
Game of Thrones) and Garret Hedlund (
The United States vs. Billie Holiday) will star in Screen Gems’
The Bride from director Jessica M. Thompson (
The End).
The Bride is “a contemporary horror thriller that tells the story of a young woman who is courted and swept off her feet, only to realize a gothic conspiracy is afoot.” It seems the focus will be on one of Dracula’s brides, women he turned into vampires and keeps as his servants and provides them with men, and possibly infants and children, to feed upon.
