Memorial Day parades and ceremonies were held Monday throughout the suburbs including Palatine, Naperville, Elgin, Libertyville, Northrbook and Glenview.
After a pandemic year of makeshift observances, many communities are returning to in-person Memorial Day ceremonies. Elgin and Palatine are among many suburbs who are happy to be back holding traditional programs.
