IMPACT Wrestling Executive Vice President Scott D Amore sent out an interesting Tweet in response to one of Samoa Joe s Tweets. It should be noted that an official date for IMPACT Wrestling s 2021
Slammiversary pay-per-view has not yet been announced, but if it falls somewhere around mid-July, Samoa Joe might be available to appear on the show.
There has to be an event within days of that 90 days being up that would make the perfect celebration of Joe & friends’ new found freedom.

Earlier this week, in accordance with regulations from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, WWE released a statement that contained specific compensation information regarding executives on the Board of Directors.
To the surprise of nobody, it turns out that the McMahon family, Triple H, Nick Khan (President and Chief Revenue Officer), and Kristina Salen (Chief Financial Officer) are filthy rich. Here is the chart detailing how much money they made in 2020:
WWE President Nick Khan cleaned up, approaching 13 million in 2020 earnings. That amount is thanks to roughly 7 million dollars in stock awards and a 5 million dollar signing bonus (accounted for in the ‘All Other Compensation’ column). The WWE Superstars released today are all under standard 90-day non-compete clauses.
As noted before at this link, WWE announced 9 departures this afternoon – Samoa Joe, Mickie James, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Bo Dallas, Wesley Blake, Kalisto, Tucker and Chelsea Green. They won’t be free to sign with other promotions until Wednesday, July 14, according to F4Wonline.com.
These releases came exactly one year after the COVID-19 budget cuts on April 15, 2020. Sean Ross Sapp noted that John Laurinaitis, who recently took over as head of WWE Talent Relations, made the release phone calls this afternoon and cited budget cuts as the reason for the departures.
