The former IIconic member responded to the news by issuing the following statement on her Twitter:
“Thank you WWE, Vince McMahon & HHH for the past 6 years. They have fulfilled my dreams entirely from being a 10 year old girl that fell in love with WWE from the moment I saw The Rock on TV and now I’m walking away with so many incredible moments from Super Showdown in front of my friends and family, to winning the tag team championships at WrestleMania.
Thank you to every single person in both locker rooms and everyone that I had the pleasure of working with behind the scenes too. I love you all and will never forget your support and all the crazy stories we have together. I will miss you all so much.

John Laurinaitis, WWE s head of talent relations, has been making the calls to talent and citing budget cuts as the reason for the WWE releases, according to sources.
Additionally, Sapp pointed out that the releases come exactly one year after numerous other superstars were released by the company, which WWE cited, at the time, as budget cuts in relation to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

April 15th is slowly becoming a day to fear for a WWE superstar as the date isn’t far removed from WrestleMania, the promotion’s biggest pay-per-view event and considered one of the highest points of the WWE’s calendar year.
Last year, the biggest professional wrestling company in the world let go of quite a handful of talents on said date, and this year was no different.
