Ashdown Road closure extended due to supply chain delays | The Daily Gazette SECTIONS CLIFTON PARK – The Ashdown Road bridge replacement in Saratoga County will not be completed by September as county officials originally expected, Clifton Park Town Supervisor Phil Barrett said this week.    Ashdown Road has been closed from Blue Barns Road to State Route 146A since May 10 to replace a bridge where the road crossed the railroad. Originally, officials had hoped to reopen the road by Sept. 3, but delays in sourcing materials needed to complete the bridge replacement have delayed completion of the project.  Barrett, who visited the road project for an update earlier this week, in an interview on Thursday said he didn’t expect the delay to increase project costs for the county and that he hoped the project would not drag into the winter season.
