Residents of Bangar town in La Union were all praises for two policemen who helped save a teenager from drowning over the weekend. In August 2020, the OJHL developed a comprehensive “Return to the Rink” procedural plan with strict protocols which were presented and approved by the OHF for Junior hockey to be used in each of the leagues under the OHA. These protocols have been followed for all of the exhibition play within the association that have taken place this season with the safety of all those who were able to participate taken very seriously.

DOH-Zamboanga Peninsula receives 3rd batch vaccines shipment

April 09, 2021 THE Department of Health (DOH)-Zamboanga Peninsula received Wednesday, April 7, the shipment of the third batch of vaccines from the DOH central office. Dr. Joshua Brillantes, DOH-Zamboanga Peninsula director, said the shipment, which arrived around 3 p.m. aboard a commercial flight, consisted of 14,200 doses of Sinovac vaccines. From the airport, the vaccines were transported to the storage facility of the DOH regional office for eventual distribution to DOH-retained hospitals in the region, including the Sulu Sanitarium. Brillantes said the vaccines are intended for the A1 category health care frontliners, who have not yet received their first dose of vaccines.
