TULSA, Okla. (UND Athletics) – Seybian Sims forced a turnover and converted a free throw before a Filip Rebraca block at the buzzer sealed a 72-71 North Dakota victory over Oral Roberts on Friday night from the Mabee Center in Tulsa.
UND (3-9, 2-1 Summit League) battled back from a halftime deficit and a two-point Oral Roberts (5-6, 2-1 Summit League) lead with just over a minute to play to pick up its first road win of the season and snap an eight-game home winning streak for ORU.
The Fighting Hawks had four of their five starters reach double figures, led by Filip Rebraca’s game-high 24 points on 11-of-20 shooting. The junior also had a season-best nine rebounds and came up with a pair of huge rejections.

DES MOINES, Iowa – Drake used a second half run to pull away from North Dakota for an 88-55 victory on Tuesday evening from the Knapp Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
UND (1-8) battled an opponent that was ranked inside the Mid-Major Top-25 for the fifth straight game, with Drake (9-0) sitting at No. 7 in the most-recent rankings released on Monday.
It was the bigs who led the way for North Dakota, with Gertautas Urbonavicius tallying a team-high 16 points on 3-of-5 from the field and knocking down nine of his 10 attempts from the charity stripe. It was the third straight game for the sophomore with double figures, adding four rebounds and two assists.

CARBONDALE, Ill. (UND Athletics)– No. 17 in the Mid Major Top-25 Southern Illinois defeated North Dakota, 62-50, on Friday afternoon in the second of two meetings between the programs in consecutive days from Carbondale.
UND (1-7) put together a strong 20 minutes to head to the locker room trailing by just four, but the Salukis (5-0) used the opening portion of the second half to build a 19-point advantage that proved too much to overcome.
Filip Rebraca battled to record his 16th straight game in double figures, but was held to just 4-of-10 from the field for a season-low 11 points. The junior led the team with eight rebounds while also recording an assist and steal.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (UND Athletics) – South Dakota State outscored North Dakota, 42-31, in the second half to pull away for a 74-62 victory on Friday evening in the second day of the CU Mortgage Direct Dakota Showcase from the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls.
SDSU (5-2) used a 16-4 run to open the second half to pull away from a stingy Fighting Hawks (1-4) squad that was looking to snap an eight-game skid against the Jackrabbits.
Filip Rebraca continued his strong stretch of games for UND, leading the Hawks with 18 points on a 7-for-14 night from the field. The junior also grabbed seven rebounds, including three on the offensive end.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (UND Athletics) – In a game and city that makes you think of March, it was North Dakota outlasting South Dakota, 75-71, on Thursday afternoon from the Sanford Pentagon in the opening game of the CU Mortgage Direct Dakota Showcase from Sioux Falls.
In the first meeting between the programs since their Summit League Quarterfinals bout in March, UND (1-3) used a 14-0 run to end the first half and begin the second before holding off the Coyotes (0-4) in the final moments to notch its second straight win over its I-29 rivals.
