GREENFIELD A 31-year-old Greenfield man was arrested Thursday on multiple drug and firearm charges.
According to a post on the Greenfield Police Department’s Facebook page, Patrick Jutras was arrested at 9 a.m. on one count of unlicensed sale of a firearm, two counts of improper storage of a firearm, four counts of possessing a firearm without a firearms identification card (FID), five counts of possessing ammunition without an FID, one count of possession of a Class E substance, one count of possession of a Class D substance and one count of distribution of a Class D substance.

GREENFIELD Deputy Police Chief Mark Williams is preparing for both a new year and a job with a new force.
The 21-year veteran of the Greenfield Police Department has accepted the chief position in East Longmeadow and is set to start Jan. 19, four days after his last shift in Greenfield.
“It was a really hard decision. It was emotional. A lot of tears were shed by me, in talking with people about it,” he said this week. “It’s more than just a job. But after a lot of thought and prayer and speaking with a lot of important people in my life, I feel very comfortable and assured this is the best decision and the right decision for my family.
