Satyanarayan takes over as NLCF’s MD; vows to ignite labour co-ops
Kushalkar is said to be the man behind his appointment
In a dramatic turn of events, the recently retired Chief Executive of NCUI, N Satyanarayana took over as the Managing Director of apex body of labour cooperatives-NLCF on Monday. Sanjiv Kushalkar who apparently controls the NLCF, is said to be the man behind his appointment
Perhaps taking a cue from Indian Cooperative news item alluding to the lack of focus among NLCF leadership in finding a suitable candidate in the wake of Pratibha Ahuja’s retirement, the Board rose to the occasion and roped in Satyanarayan, whom people regards as honest and competent.

The 44th AGM of apex labour co-op federation NLCF turned stormy with members after members expressing anger over one of the Directors V V P Nair filing a police complaint over an alleged misappropriation of funds.
The atmosphere turned toxic soon after the beginning of the proceedings. The Managing Director put the agenda which was passed by the members and then began an acidic round of allegation and counter allegation. Majority of members were up on their feet demanding expulsion of Nair and his society from its membership to the apex body NLCF.
“Bowing to the overwhelming response of members, the NLCF’s General Body passes the resolution of expelling Nair’s society”, said Ashok Dabas concluding the debate and trying to end the mayhem being witnessed at the top floor of Federation’s Sarita Vihar office in Delhi on Monday.
V V P Nair has readied a Police complaint against the top management of National Labour Cooperative Federation of India Limited (NLCF). A copy of the said Police complaint is circulating in the cooperative corridor.
Indian Cooperative has no idea if the complaint has been lodged or is merely a black-mailing tactic. A copy of the same with Indian Cooperative has no police stamping or any official seal. The three persons against whom the Complaint has been lodged are Sanjeev Kushalkar (former Chairman, NLCF), Amit Bajaj (present Vice-Chairman, NLCF) and Managing Director, Smt. Pratibha Ahuja
The complaint is addressed to SHO Sarita Vihar Police Station, Commissioner of Police Jai Singh Road, Deputy Commissioner of Police, and Joint Commissioner of Police EoW.
