Fireworks to light up downtown Pueblo
Take a walk down by the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo or bring a lawn chair to watch the fireworks show scheduled for about 9:30 p.m. Sunday, July 4.
The HARP Authority suggests anyone who is looking to watch the show, which will be set off from the top of the Main Street parking garage, schedule dinner at a Riverwalk restaurant or find a way to patronize the downtown area.

The group will honor past recipients of awards from the group from 5 to 7 p.m., with awards from last season to be awarded from 7 to 9 p.m.

In its March meeting, the Pueblo West Women’s League voted in favor of donating $10,000 to nine non-profit organizations that serve the Pueblo West community.
Barb Murfit, PWWL president, said despite the pandemic affecting the league’s fundraising efforts, the women were able to host two events that helped make the donations possible.
In June of 2020, the league hosted a garage sale from a member’s home, then the league hosted what it called ‘The August Appeal.’
