Banbury-based EV manufacturer Arrival has announced details of the Arrival Van.
Due on sale in 2022 it will have a payload of up to 1975kg and have a choice of four battery sizes up to 133kWh in the 4.25-tonne gross vehicle weight van.
Range will depend on battery size but Arrival predicts 112 miles to 211 miles based on the WLTP testing cycle, while the 89kWh battery will achieve 149 miles.
A choice of four body lengths and three roof heights will be available.
“We believe that the rapid growth of e-commerce has led to a much higher demand for light commercial transport in cities, increasing both congestion and air pollution.” said Avinash Ruguboor, president and chief strategy officer of Arrival.
