State cites noncompliance in North Chelmsford sewer main break

CHELMSFORD The state has cited the town for violation of sewer regulations compliance, following a March 2020 sewer main break at the Southwell pump station in North Chelmsford.
However, town officials are criticizing the state s response, including some requirements of a consent order, and an unspecified fine amount.
Public Works Director Gary Persichetti and Town Manager Paul Cohen gave an update at the May 24 Select Board meeting.
Persichetti said a meeting between town officials and the Department of Environmental Protection regarding the noncompliance notice is set for June 30. It s a little disturbing, Cohen said. A year ago.weere out in the field with the Department of Environmental Protection and [pump station contract operator] Sampson and Wesson, and weren t given a heads-up, saying, Hey, you can expect an enforcement letter in a year or so.

The Aruba Edge Service Platform which includes SD-WAN from the recent HPE Silver Peak acquisition is coming into its own as a “meaningful contributor” to HPE’s overall annualized revenue run rate, said HPE CEO Antonio Neri.

Keerti Melkote, who founded Aruba Networks and built it into a powerful cloud-first alternative to networking behemoth Cisco Systems, has stepped aside as president of Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s intelligent edge business as of June 1.
Melkote is being replaced by HPE Senior Vice President of the Communications Group Phil Mottram, a seasoned 30-year telecommunications veteran who has worked at Vodafone, AT&T, Sprint, British Telecom, and Telstra. Before joining HPE two years ago, Mottram was Chief Revenue Officer for the Zayo Group, a mission-critical fiber bandwidth provider.
