Taskmaster ruins one particular word forever

Taskmasterseries 11 may have just ruined one word forever thanks to the metronome challenge.
Airing on Channel 4 tonight (May 6), the latest instalment of the comedy game show once again pitted contestants Lee Mack, Charlotte Ritchie, Mike Wozniak, Jamali Maddix and Sarah Kendall against all manner of madcap tasks.
The first one in particular was a doozy, where they had to blow up a balloon to a bigger size than their own head, wrap it up in paper and eat three poppadoms – all the while saying metronome every time a nearby metronome clicked.
Paul García de Oteyza and Caterina Pañeda, creative directors of Oteyza, were in their country house in the Tiétar valley of Spain when they found inspiration for their latest collection. “Some colors there are just stunning,” Pañeda said. “The climbing shrub at our place has a certain orange that just pops, so we just took some of those vibrant tones and threw them into the clothes.”
As García de Oteyza points out, Pañeda is the “color magician” of the duo, and this time she decided to go bold with tones such as electric blue, mustard yellow, and indeed bright orange. “You could say this is a more contemporary collection, but not just because of the color. We have also worked with textiles such as neoprene or stretchy fabrics, and we have gone for more minimalist shapes as well,” García de Oteyza said.
PANAMA CITY When Angel s BBQ owner Victor Hunt and Renwick Chisolm get cooking in the test kitchen, you never know what s going to come out just that you ll want to eat it.
Angel s BBQ is closed on Sundays and Mondays for now, Hunt said, but that doesn t mean the cooking or the preparation stops.
Test Kitchen Tuesdays start next week
On April 12, Hunt and Chisolm perfected their new original recipes in the restaurant s 8-foot by 20-foot kitchen. One by one, the dishes made their way from the kitchen window to an outside table on the front porch, where I was able to get a sneak peek. From baked potatoes loaded with pulled pork or brisket to sandwiches, seafood and two renditions of shrimp and grits, Hunt and Chisolm had prepared seven new dishes by 10 a.m.
