Are We Moving A Little Too Fast To Re-Open America?

May 14, 2021 I definitely want to get back to enjoying life like the next person, but at the same time I don t want to rush getting back to pre-pandemic days if we re not ready. Today marks the first day of the Bridge Phase, the phase that prepares the state for a complete reopening which takes place in Phase 5 next month. With vaccinations declining and people still getting sick and even dying from COVID-19 are officials being too aggressive in getting things back to normal? Maybe we are rushing it a little bit, but at the same time we have to get the economy back in order and a host of other things, understood. But can we continue to have the mindset like we re in Phase 3 by following safety protocol? If we all work smarter together, we should be able to beat this thing once and for all.

Taxslayer Center gets ready to host first graduation ceremony since the pandemic The center set to host their first ceremony on the same day Illinois Bridge Phase takes full effect. Author: Nina Burns (WQAD) Updated: 9:02 PM CDT May 13, 2021 The Taxslayer Center began preparation for upcoming graduation ceremonies. The first ceremony will take place Friday – the same day Illinois’ “Bridge Phase” is set to take full effect. “Unfortunately the Bridge Phase doesn t really affect us because of social distancing, we need to maintain six feet between groups,” Taxslayer Executive Director, Scott Mullen said. The center can open to 28% capacity, translating roughly to 3,000 people.
