Jonesville street projects underway
JONESVILLE The city of Jonesville’s 2021 street projects are well underway.
City Manager Jeff Gray said contractors finished repaving Parkwood Drive last week and paved a portion of Pinecrest Drive that was previously unpaved.
Gray said some finish work still needs to be completed around manholes and water boxes which will be completed in the near future.
The city intends to repave Gaige Street as a weekend project in the near future and will coordinate this project with manufacturers in the area to minimize disruption of commercial deliveries that service the industry in the area, Gray said.

Public safety officers say it happened on Westnedge Avenue near Parkwood Drive around 7 p.m.
The victim was critically hurt, but is also said to be in stable condition.
