Dozens of residents near Northampton s Holland neighborhood told supervisors to say no on July 7 for plans for a new Wawa gas station on Holland Road.
Neighbors of the proposed 5,585-square-foot store with eight fueling stations say the 2.5-acre parcel at the intersection of Holland, Rocksville and Buck roads will be a traffic nightmare and a danger to nearby homes.
Supervisors will hold a special meeting Wednesday, July 7 at 7:30 p.m., where the final land development plan submitted by Provco Pinegood Northampton could be approved.
A copy of the plan posted at www.northamptontownship.com shows the Wawa will sit mainly on undeveloped land, about 550 feet north of an existing, smaller Wawa food market where Holland and Buck roads intersect.
