KUANTAN: Essential services in Kuantan will need to register with the Kuantan City Council (MBK) as the entire district is placed under the enhanced movement control order (MCO).
Pahang National Security Council director Mohd Zairasyahli Syah Zakaria said the registration had to be submitted for approval by May 27.

THE Covid-19 Quarantine and Low-Risk Treatment Centre (PKRC) at the Pahang Sports Complex Indoor Stadium (SUKPA) in Kuantan ended its operations after all 168 foreign patients housed at the centre had recovered and were allowed to go home today.
Pahang National Security Council (MKN) director Mohd Zairasyahli Shah Zakaria said 158 patients from the Jalan Genting Cluster were allowed to return starting from 2pm by bus provided by the state government.

KUANTAN: The Pahang National Security Council has assured the community around the Covid-19 quarantine and treatment centre here that everything will be under control.
Its director Mohd Zairasyahli Shah Zakaria said security forces would keep the perimeter of the centre at the Sukpa Stadium secure at all times to prevent patients from leaving. There is no need to worry as security will be tight. We will make sure everything is ready and prepared before patients are brought here, he said after inspecting the centre in Indera Mahkota here on Thursday (Dec 10).
Zairasyahli said 115 low-risk foreign patients were scheduled to be placed at the centre by Friday (Dec 11).
