KUANTAN: Essential services in Kuantan will need to register with the Kuantan City Council (MBK) as the entire district is placed under the enhanced movement control order (MCO).
Pahang National Security Council director Mohd Zairasyahli Syah Zakaria said the registration had to be submitted for approval by May 27.

KUANTAN: Kuantan was proclaimed a city by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
His Majesty, who is the Sultan of Pahang, decreed the appointment of Kuantan Municipal Council president Datuk Hamdan Hussin as the first Datuk Bandar (mayor) of Kuantan.
The proclamation ceremony took place at the Kuantan City Complex, in full compliance with the conditional movement control order’s standard operating procedure in force in Pahang.
