隨著電動車續航力持續成長，現已超過 1.5 萬輛的電動車如同移動的大型行動電源，未來不只是透過充電樁充電，更可在需要時將車上電能回輸電網，化身備援供電生力軍。台電於臺大、臺科大旁的台北市區營業處設置電動車智慧充電示範場，今（4）日起開放民眾免費使用。
