According to Bursch, if raffle-ticket purchasers wear a fruit-themed outfit, they will receive an additional raffle ticket for free. Vendors during the Strawberry Festival will each get a raffle ticket which gives them a chance to win a $50 Gift Certificate, said Bursch. If a vendor dresses up and/or decorates their booth with a fruit theme, they will get an additional raffle ticket.
Virginia Family Nutrition Program will be present doing a BERRY fun kids craft during the market.

PETERSBURG - Old Towne Petersburg has become even more whimsical thanks to the new mural painted on Old Towne s Alibi restaurant.
The fabulous artwork commissioned by Bill Nicholson and Richard Cuthbert as well as other Petersburgers who gladly chipped in will more than likely be Artist Matt Lively s final outdoor mural.
On May 15, Lively announced that his artwork in Petersburg with happy-go-lucky imagery will be his final exterior mural.
