Telangana to reopen schools for classes 6th to 8th
Telangana government on Tuesday decided to allow the reopening of schools for classes 6th to 8th from Wednesday. The decision was taken a teleconference Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar conducted with all the district collectors, district educational officers, district welfare officers of backward classes, minority and tribal welfare, and scheduled caste development departments.
Chief Secretary directed that classes should start from February 24 as far as possible and not later than March 1.
About 17.24 lakh students in addition to the existing number are likely to be attending school from classes 6th to 8th. Chief Secretary also directed that District Level Education Monitoring Committee (DLEMC) chaired by the District Collector should meet and ensure the reopening of schools.

New Delhi: Two days after the state government s order, primary schools in Haryana reopened on Wednesday (February 24) for classes 3 to 5 students.
The Department of School Education, Haryana, on Monday issued an order stating all government and private primary schools should be reopened in the state.
The school timings would be from 10 am to 1:30 pm, the order said.
Students who attend classes are required to submit written consent from their parents allowing them to take offline classes. The students have been asked to bring a certificate from a health centre or doctor certifying they do not have any Covid-like symptoms.
For Classes 6 to 8, 20 marks will be for assessment based on worksheets, 30 for the assignments given in winter breaks and 50 marks for the assignments and projects provided from March 1 to 15.

The Telangana Government took a decision regarding the classes for students in grade 6, 7 and 8. Schools for the 9
th and 10
th grade were started early this month and the kids were allowed to go to the campus as long as the educational institute followed all the necessary COVID-19 guidelines and measures.
In a latest announcement from the state government it was said that the classes will now work for the students of grade 6, 7 and 8 as well. Schools were directed to make all the arrangements. Starting from February 24 to March 1
st, the schools can make the preparations and reopen the schools as earliest as possible.

Haryana schools to reopen for Classes 3-5 from February 24
Schools in Haryana will reopen for Classes 3 to 5 from February 24 after remaining closed for 11 months due to coronavirus pandemic. The schools timings will be between 10 am to 1.30 pm.
Schools were closed since March last year following the outbreak of COVID-19.
