The Marblehead Peninsula Lions Club will host a Pancake Breakfast and 50/50 raffle on Saturday, May 15 from 8 – 11 a.m. at the Marblehead VFW Post 7572. Proceeds will benefit the club’s Community Medical Fund. Limited seating and carry-out breakfasts are $6 for adults and children.
In the past, the club’s fundraisers have benefited local residents Daniel “Buzz” Webster and Jennie Sherry Donich. After 10 months in many different hospitals, Daniel’s mother, Karen Minton Appleman, reports that Daniel is home with his boys.
“Daniel is able to talk with them about school, sports and their daily activities. We are so thankful for the Lions Club and our community,” said Appleman.
