Regional economic growth strategy to be a game changer : Commissioner Gujranwala

Daily Times July 2, 2021 Commissioner Gujranwala Division Zulfiqar Ahmed Ghuman said on the Thursday that under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar, the Regional Economic Growth Strategy Gujranwala Division will be a game changer and the development projects worth billions of rupees will prove a milestone in the country’s economic and industrial revival. The government has approved establishment of an expo center at Gujranwala, new industrial estate in Gujrat as well as hundreds of new projects for the infrastructural development besides establishment of new universities and other public welfare projects.

UoG partners with Turkey in researchers training

Daily Times May 25, 2021 An international training workshop on research article writing which was organized by Turkey in collaboration with two Pakistani universities – the University of Gujrat and the University of Sargodha – concluded here on Sunday. “We strongly believe that collaboration among institutions, especially at the international level, is always of great significance,” UoG Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Shabbar Atiq said, emphasizing the need for more collaboration and cooperation among the universities and institutions at the international level for the promotion of research. The two-day international training workshop titled, ‘Research Article Writing Workshop’, was organized by Turkey’s The Englishers LLL in collaboration with the UoG and the UoS.
