Dhani Barik’s son, Dibakar, died of suspected Covid-19 in Khurda district late on Tuesday. The 25-year-old used to work in a poultry farm near his village and was the family’s sole breadwinner.
A resident of Ankulachanti village, Dibakar was admitted to a community health centre at Balugaon on Tuesday after he complained of body ache and high fever. Though the finding of his swab test was yet to be ascertained, he died during treatment in the hospital the same evening.
