Nintendo Co., Ltd. this week released Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo Entertainment System titles for the Nintendo Switch Online service.
New NES and SNES titles include Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble, The Ignition Factor, Super Valis IV, Tuff E Nuff, and Nightshade.
Nintendo Switch Online is a paid service that provides access to online play. Titles including Splatoon 2, ARMS, Mario Kart 8, Mario Tennis, and Sushi Striker: Way of Sushido require a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
Finally, the service offers Save Data Cloud Backup to save data online.
A 1-Month membership costs $3.99, Nintendo Switch Online 3-Month Membership at $7.99 and 12-Month Membership at $19.99. A 12-Month Family membership with up to seven members costs $34.99.
The
Nintendo Switch Online NES 5.1.0 update and Nintendo Switch Online SNES update 2.1.0 are out and bring new games for subscribers. Nintendo has released a steady stream of emulated NES and SNES games to its online subscribers over the past few years. With these updates, four more SNES games and one NES game join the line-up.

A new Nintendo Switch Online update has added five new SNES and NES games for all subscribers on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite to enjoy. Earlier this month, Nintendo announced that for the month of December, those with a Nintendo Switch Online membership could look forward to four new SNES gamesand one new NES game. That said, today, a new Nintendo Switch Online update added these games to the service.
Right now, at the moment of writing this, all Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can now play the following four SNES games for free:

During a recent presentation,
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai announced that the fan favourite character will be available in the game next Tuesday, December 22. However, players can get early access to the character by completing the Sephiroth Challenge.
The limited-time challenge is available to users have pre-ordered the Sephiroth DLC â either individually or as part of Fighters Pass Vol. 2 â and pits them against a Boss version of the
FFVII villain. After Sephiroth is defeated, he will be unlocked and available to play immediately.
