Nintendo has released a steady stream of emulated NES and SNES games to its online subscribers over the past few years. With these updates, four more SNES games and one NES game join the line-up.

Nightshade is an odd game to bring to the service. Its full title is
Nintendo announced a December Nintendo Switch Online update that will bring new NES, SNES, Famicom, Super Famicom, and Famicom Disk System games to the service. On December 18, 2020, one NES game and four SNES games will show up in North America. (
Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble will be among them.) That same day, Japan will get four Super Famicom games and one Famicom Disk System game.
