The Structural Engineering company that inspected the Champlain Towers in 2018 says they also gave estimates back in june of 2020 for the buildings 40year recertification. The consultant only provides Engineering Consulting services, not repair or restoration contracting, the statement said. And they also stated, and im quoting, we are deeply troubled by this Building Collapse and are working closely with the investigating authorities to understand why the structure failed. As we do so, we also continue to pray for all those impacted by this tragic event. Tonight, surfside officials are warning residents of a Sister Building, the Champlain Towers north, and theyre warning them to evacuate now. We have a full team

The Southeastern State of New South Wales, seeing temperatures topping 40 degrees. Wildfires are already burning and officials have put residents on high alert for more. The big fear is of a repeat of last years black summer in which dozens perished in blazes. This fires in the sydney suburb of north me to its just one of dozens of wildfires that have been burning across the state of New South Wales. They are comparing the covid crisis to a train about to derail. Among the new restrictions is a quarantine. Will it be enforced . Reporter San Jose International must post the information and also give each arriving passenger a copy of the order. Letting them know that they are required to quarantine for 14 days. This is the last group of travelers arriving at sjc who will not be asked to quarantine. But at midnight that all changes. Thats when a new travel order goes into effect in Santa Clara County requiring people who travel more than 150 miles from the county to quarantine for 14 days.
