He pays tributes to two doctors who died of virus
Former Parvatipuram MP and Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists-Vizianagaram district president D.V.G. Sankara Rao on Saturday urged doctors, nurses and other medical staff to take maximum personal care while discharging duties in COVID-19 wards. He expressed shock over the demise of former Dean of Maharaja Institute of Medical Sciences Narayana Raju and MIMS professor R.Varaprasad who died of COVID-19 on Friday. Along with other doctors, he paid rich tributes to them and recalled their services.

Vizianagaram (Andhra Pradesh) [India], May 6 (ANI): A woman died in an elephantattack on Thursday in Andhra Pradesh s Pata Kallikota village of Vizianagaram district.
According to Komarada sub-inspector Gnana Prasad, the victim has been identified as Allada Appamma. This morning Allada Appamma, age 50 years old, went to her agricultural field to fetch vegetables when an elephant hit her around 5:30 am. When the elephant stumped, Appamma died on the spot. Her body is shifted to Parvatipuram area hospital, said Prasad.
Police and forest officials went to the spot immediately, while forest department officials are trying to trace out the elephant.

The government general hospital is able to handle only 300 patients while more than 10,000 COVID-19 patients await treatment. Poor medical infrastructure in the absence of government medical college is causing untold miseries to COVID-19 patients in Vizinagaram and other parts of the district.
Successive governments ignored the establishment of a medical college in the district, which was formed on June 1, 1979. The four decades of negligence has now turned into a bane for patients who are forced to go to hospitals in nearby Visakhapatnam district.

Train no. 00851 Vizianagaram-Adarsh Nagar(Delhi) Kisan Rail parcel special train will leave Vizianagaram, on every alternate day with effect from April 17 at 4 a.m. to reach Adarsh Nagar on the next day at 5.30 p.m.
In the return direction, 00852 Adarsh Nagar-Vizianagaram Kisan Rail Parcel Special Train will leave Adarsh Nagar on every alternate day with effect from April 19 at 2 a.m. to arrive in Vizianagaram at 12.30 p.m. on the next day.
