Shares of quick restaurant service provider Burger King India Ltd. continued to surge on Wednesday as it hit the upper circuit for the third straight day.
On Wednesday, its shares on the BSE reached Rs 199.25, rising Rs 33.20 or 19.99 per cent from its previous close.
Burger King s stock got listed on Indian bourses on Monday and on the debut day itself, it opened at a premium of over 87 per cent over the IPO price at Rs 112.50.

On the other hand, Burger King India Ltd., Hind Copper, CG Consumer, Godrej Properties and Deepak Nitrite stocks hit their fresh 52-week high today.
In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC, Divi s Labs, M&M, ONGC and Tata Motors were among the top gainers on the NSE. However, ICICI Bank, UltraTech Cements, GAIL, Eicher Motors and Tech Mahindra were among the top losers.

New Delhi: Benchmark indices closed in positive territory for the fourth consecutive day on Wednesday with record closing high. At close, the Sensex was up 403.29 points or 0.87% at 46,666.46. Broader Nifty was up 114.80 points or 0.85% at 13,682.70. Both benchmark indices registered new record highs in today s trading session/ It was the real estate stocks that outperformed. The Nifty Realty index ended with gains of 5.1% - its biggest single-day gain since August 27, this year. The index ended at a 10-month high.

New Delhi: Christmas gifts came early for investors as shares of fast-food chain Burger King India Ltd hit the 20% upper circuit for the second day in a row on Wednesday amid heavy volumes. The stock hit a fresh record high ofRs 199.25 apiece today. Note that the stock had listed on bourses on Monday, tripling from its issue price of Rs 60 a share. From its issue price, the scrip is now up 232.08%.
