NEW DELHI: The benchmark equity index BSE Sensex was trading 1905.18 points down at 49134.13 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, MRC Exim (down 18.52 per cent) , ABB Power Products (down 11.72 per cent) , Diksat Transworld (down 10.67 per cent) , Sanco Trans (down 10 per cent) , RGF Capital Markets (down 10.00 per cent) , Valencia Nutrition (down 9.96 per cent) , ICL Organic Dairy (down 9.90 per cent) , Kilpest India (down 9.11 per cent) , SSPN Finance (down 9.00 per cent) and Sparc Systems (down 8.96 per cent) were among the top losers.
In the Nifty pack, 1 stocks were in the green, while 49 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: Domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, were trading in red on Friday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Eveready Industries ( 20 per cent) , Natural Capsule ( 19.98 per cent) , Binny Ltd ( 19.98 per cent) , Sadhana Nitrochem ( 19.90 per cent) , National Fertilizers ( 18.11 per cent) , Aditya Consumer Mark ( 15.88 per cent) , Praj Industries ( 14.22 per cent) , Andrew Yule ( 14.14 per cent) , Dredging Corp ( 14.11 per cent) and Rane (Madras) ( 14.02 per cent) rallied over 10 per cent.
The 30-share Sensex was trading 1813.09 points down at 49226.22 while the 50-share Nifty index was 537.15 points down at 14560.2.
In the Nifty 50 index, 0 stocks were trading in the green, while 49 stocks were in the red.
Shares of
Bank of Maharashtra (up 9.81 per cent), Punjab & Sind Bank (up 4.87 per cent),
Bank of Baroda (up 1.81 per cent) were among the top gainers. While
Bank of India (down 0.46 per cent) was the sole loser in the index. The Nifty PSU Bank index was trading 1.5 per cent up at 2499.8 around 01:39PM. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 158.20 points at 15140.2, while the BSE Sensex was up 449.28 points at 51230.97. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 35 were trading in the green, while 15 were in the red. Shares of BHEL, Vodafone Idea, PNB, Tata Power and Coal India Ltd were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
